You'd use a # 9510 40 amp breaker for the 12-v accessory circuit to the trailer connector and either a 20 or a 30 amp breaker on the circuit powering the brake controller. For a trailer with up to 4 brake assemblies, a 20 amp breaker like # 9506P would be perfect. For more than 4 brake assemblies, use a # 38630 30 amp breaker.
To set up your 2013 Ford Edge to tow a trailer, you'll need a brake controller. The Tekonsha Prodigy you'd looked at, part # 90885 would be a fine choice, it's reliable and very easy to use. To wire the controller, you'll first need to install a 4 pole trailer connector. You can so so using part # 118515. With that in place, you'll need our # ETBC7 brake controller install kit which includes a 4-pole to 7-way trailer connector adapter, as well as all the wire, hardware and the circuit breakers you'll need to complete the install.
I'll link to a video showing the # ETBC7 install kit being used to install a brake controller on a 2013 Ford Edge like yours. I've also linked to a video for the # 118515 4-pole wiring harness.
