When you add an aftermarket brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 to your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500, you will need to have the computer flashed by a GMC dealer to disable the factory brake controller. If you do not do this the computer will throw a trouble code and likely neither controller will work properly.
A Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3064-P will allow you to plug directly into the connection on your Sierra.
