What Plugs In To The Blue Trailer Brake Controller Port On A 2006 Dodge Ram?
Question:
Dodge Ram, 2006, the blue adapter is on top of the box instead of the side. Does the blue adapter come off so that I can get the male end plugged in?

The blue trailer brake controller port on your 2006 Dodge Ram is not removeable, and instead is where you would plug the plug-in wiring adapter for your trailer brake controller into.
For example if you are planning on using the Tekonsha BRAKE-EVN Trailer Brake controller # TK63VR you were looking at you would need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Dodge # 3020-P which will have one end that plugs into the blue connector, and the other end will plug into the trailer brake controller.
I included a video of the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160 being installed in a 2006 Dodge Ram with the plug-in wiring adapter # 3020-P as it will install the exact same way.
