Determining Correct Replacement Shackle For 28 Pace Enclosed Race Trailer W/ Tandem 5500lb Axles
Question:
I have a 28ft enclosed pace race trailer with i believe 2 5500 lbs axles. they have the 6 lug wheels. i recently had a leaf spring shackle fail. it appears to be ~3 inches end to end. would you be able to recommend a shackle or a few shackles that i need to purchase. I understand that is not a lot of info. Appologies and thanks

I would be happy to help, but first I will need a little more information.
The correct replacement shackles for your 28' Pace Enclosed Race Trailer will be determined by the length of the shackle measured from center to center of the two mounting holes.
The 3" end to end measurement means you possibly have a 2-5/8" shackle like the # LC146060, but to be sure you will want to remove one of the other shackles on the trailer and measure it as shown in the included diagram.
If you find you have a different length shackle just let me know.
