Do the error coeds appear with or without a trailer connected or both? Based on what you are seeing I believe there is an overload condition on your Brakeman controller. This could happen for several reasons.
First, sever the blue wire from the back of the controller. Next use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 if needed to test the end coming from the controller. It should only show a signal when you apply the manual override. If it shows power at any other time, then there is something wrong inside the controller and it will need to be replaced.
If the blue wire checks out, reconnect it and then check the vehicle and trailer side connectors for dirt and corrosion and clean them out. Corrosion can also build up where the wires attach so check those as well.
Then you can make sure the trailer brake magnet wiring is not damaged and touching bare metal. That can cause a short. Also make sure the grounds are attached to clean and corrosion free bare metal surfaces near the magnets.
Then you can visually inspect the magnets. If you can see the copper windings coming through the magnets will need to be replaced. To further test the magnets, you can follow the FAQ article I have linked. I have also included a link to troubleshooting brake controller installations for you.
