Recommended High Capacity Hitch for Class C RV on 2007 Chevy Express 3500 Cutaway Van Chassis

Looking for a hitch for my RV I have read i would require a custom welded hitch kit, any suggestions. Looking for a tongue weight of 1000lbs or more

For a cutaway van chassis, we typically recommend a weld-on application that's typically used on a service body truck like the Draw-Tite # 41990. You'll also need frame brackets, either # 4907 for a 7 inch drop or part # 4916. To determine how much drop you need, measure downward from the underside of the frame member until you clear the underside of the bumper.
The # 41990 is a class V hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening. The hitch has a 16K towing capacity/1600 lb tongue weight capacity, so it certainly has the capacity you're looking for.
