I have another option for you, but the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Multi Fit - Class III - 2" # C13900 you mentioned is not a confirmed fit for your 2005 Chevrolet Impala, and there is not a 2" receiver option confirmed to fit your vehicle at this time.
Instead I recommend going with the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # 36407 which is a Class II 1-1/4" receiver with a 300lb tongue weight rating and 3500lb trailer weight rating.
If you are planning on towing with your Impala you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # C56116, drawbar # 36061, 1-7/8" hitch ball # 19257 or 2" hitch ball # 19258, and hitch pin and clip # F-4.
I included a few videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
