A single click and failure to ignite could be a faulty control board, providing all other items are in proper condition i.e. propane supply is available etc. The Replacement Control Panel for Atwood Water Heaters is, # AT91367. I suggest you first confirm this by verifying power on the wire that goes from the ECO to gas solenoid when the igniter is attempting to operate. Failure to have 12 volts indicates the control board is bad.

The number 96220 is the OEM part number of the discontinued Atwood G6A-8E Water Heater AT96121 and we do have the correct circuit board (control panel) for that. The part you need is the Replacement Control Panel for Atwood Water Heaters #AT91367.
