Can I Shut Down One A-iPower 2,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generator running in Parallel for an A/C

Question:

I read a question, the answer was that you can turn off the second generator in parallel operation after the startup load comes down to running load. On the front of both my A-ipower 2000i generators there is a sticker that says Notice Disconnect parallel cords prior to shutdown. Failure to do so may damage inverter.inch Is this true or do I disconnect the second generator before shutdown? Why would this cause damage when you can start them connected, in fact it says to do it that way? Thanks It gets worse. I just looked at my other generator and it says the opposite. Caution DO NOT disconnect parallel cables while inverter is running.inch

I reached out to the manufacturer about this issue. If you are needing two A-iPower 2,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generators # 289-SUA2000i to power on your AC, then you will need to have both of them connected in parallel at all times since the compressor in the RV will kick in intermittently and that is when the surge wattage comes in to play. Regarding the parallel connections the bottom line is do not disconnect the cables while out voltage is being distributed.
