Do The Custer LED Side Marker/Clearance Lights Require a Gasket to Install?

Question:

I just purchased two Custer LED Side Marker - Clearance Trailer Lightsfoot Item no. CPL120A. The description indicates surface mounting hardware is not included. I assumed this was the nut and bolts needed to attached the light to the trailer. However when I recieved the light it appears that there should be a rubber gasket or similar that should be placed between the light and the mounting surface. Do you sell this part? Please provide a part no. and cost for this item. I am in need of two pieces. Thank you

Expert Reply:

The Custer LED Side Marker or Clearance Trailer Light # CPL120A doesn't require a rubber gasket. The wiring and LED's are sealed completely and there is no need for a gasket.

If you are running the wiring into the wall be sure to use silicone to seal the hole where the wire enters the trailer to prevent any water damage.
