Availability of Concealed Trailer Hitch for 2018 Nissan Pathfindeer
Question:
Hello Im looking for the hitch that sits up higher on the vehicle. I want the hitch that sits above bumper. I know I would have to trim the plastic. Im looking for the hitch look from a factory installation. I have attached a picture off what I want my suv to look like after installation. Thank you

The hitches we offer would all install so that the receiver tube sits directly under the rear bumper, such as the Curt Class III hitch, part # C13309. In order to get a hitch like what you described, you'd need to get the OEM hitch from Toyota, as well as the specific bumper cover with the knockout for the receiver to pass through. If the hitch can be installed aftermarket, it will be very expensive.
I certainly understand why you'd want a hitch to install through the bumper fascia, trailer hitches aren't the most attractive thing in the world but the good news is that the Curt # C13309 I recommended will be mostly concealed behind the bumper, with the only visible portion of the hitch being the receiver opening and the safety chain loops. The remainder of the hitch will be concealed behind the bumper fascia. I've provided a photo showing what the hitch looks like once it's installed.
I've also linked to the installation instructions and an install video.
