Can Swift Hitch Camera # SH04 be Charged with Trailer Wiring

Question:

If using as a continuous backup camera and I wire into my reverse lights to charge battery will this work ? Once Ive loaded the necessary app to my device do I have to keep loading the wifi address before I can get an image on my device ? If I leave the camera turned on an go into reverse how does that change image ? If I do not turn camera off and I am no longer in reverse willit keep showing image ? Is a wifi signal or internet needed in order for camera to operate properly where there are neither available ? I had purchased the the view smart trailer camera which by the way is terrible because who hast time to connect to the hopkins app then choose the wifi for that app then start from the beginning again to get an image all while trying to back up into a tight spot. If someone could please get back to me with my concerns.

The Swift Hitch Wi-Fi Camera for Smartphone or Tablet # SH04 can charge with either 5 volts or 12 volts so if you ran a 12 volt circuit to it like a the trailer wiring you mentioned it would charge it.

Once your phone knows the wifi network of this it will automatically connect to it when it's present and would not require to manually connect to it.

If you have the camera on already and then go into reverse to activate it there would be no change.

This produces it's own wifi signal so you would not need to be in any type of network for it to work.
