Curt 5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation For A 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 8 Bed
Question:
I have an existing Husky 5th wheel Hitch. I feel I need a new Hitch. I would like to take to someone before I make a purchase. I have decided of the Curt brand. Am I able to speak with someone? Thanks

A Curt branded hitch is a great replacement for your current Husky 5th Wheel Hitch. Depending on the weight of your trailer you will need a different weight capacity hitch. I have the following weight capacity sizes with the correct rails for your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 8' bed if you need to replace them as well:
Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000lbs # C16120 with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish # C16418-204.
Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000lbs # C16140 with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish # C16418-204.
Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 25,000lbs # C16180 with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish # C16418-204.
These hitches all have a 3-point indicator system that shows you whether your hitch is ready to tow, couple, or uncouple and is visible from the cab of your truck. the interlocking 2-jaw system provides 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact for less rattle and more security than slide-bar models and fully articulating torsion head for controlled coupling and a stable, quiet ride.
