How To Adapt 4-Way On 2018 Jeep Wrangler to 7-Way Trailer Connector

Question:

Will part # 37185 work on my 2018 jeep wrangler sport jl unlimited? I have already installed the 4 way kit through the tail light last year. I need a 7 pin installed to pull a small RV with brakes so i will be installing a brake controller as well. Will this work. Thanks for any info. I am scratching my head.

In order to convert a 4-way to a 7-way you'll indeed need the adapter like part # 37185 but you'll also need wires, circuit breakers, and wire connectors. Therefore, I recommend the part # ETBC7 which is the full kit with all of the required components. If you don't already have a brake controller picked out, the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 is what I recommend. This will be all that is needed to get setup and go.
