Can a TPMS Detect Issues with Trailer Brakes or Hubs

Will the TPMS help with bearing or hub problems? Does the temperature monitor work for indicating a bearing has gone bad?

Yes, issues with the brakes or hubs will create more friction which will create a heat buildup. This heat buildup will transfer from the brake/hub to the wheel and then to the tire therefore, a TPMS can detect issue with the brakes/hubs. The Tire Linc TPMS for RVs and Trailers part # LC37VR is a great option for this as it has temperature sensing capability. It also uses a handheld device for the display so no bulky monitor is needed for the dash of the tow vehicle.
