Does Installation of Curt C13410 Class III Hitch on 2011 Subaru Outback Use Existing Hardware
Question:
Does this hitch come with new bolts and washers? Or do you just use the existing ones?

Expert Reply:
The Curt # C13410 Hitch uses existing fasteners on the vehicle. As you can see beginning at the 7:50 minute mark in the linked video, the nuts that hold the bumper beam in place are what's reused. The studs that hold the hitch in place are permanently welded to the vehicle..
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118467, a ball mount like # D-4, Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3, and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
I've also linked to an install video for the trailer wiring harness.
