Weight Distribution System Solution for 2001 Bayliner 2452 on Pole Tongue Trailer
Question:
Hi. I have a 2001 bayliner 2452. The trailer is a “pole tongue “?? It has surge breaks. From center of coupler to rear of surge break thing is exactly 31.8 inches. Not like a travel trailer. I need a wd hitch for my tow vehicle. 2018 Ford Expedition platinum. With hd tow package. It can tow 5000 regular but says with wd hitch 9200. Boat and trailer loaded probably weighs around 7500-8000. Any help would be appreciated.

The Equal-i-zer pole tongue adapter part # EQ95-01-5950 that you referenced would be the first component you'd need for your boat trailer. It would work well since it can be positioned between 27 and 32 inches back from the center of the hitch ball.
Then for a weight distribution system the Equal-i-zer prat # EQ37120ET would work really well as it's properly weight rated and also is surge brake compatible.
