Using A Convert-A-Ball Adapter On a 2018 Forest River Artic Wolf With Lippert Turning Point Pin Box

Question:

We have a gooseneck hitch on our flatbed truck and use it often for a cattle trailer. can we use the convert a ball on this trailer ? the pin box appears to be a TURNING POINT brand. I do not have the trailer yet to look at the model number. The current owner was using an adapter that goes onto the bed of his truck, which we can not use, because our flat bed has a cut out trough and it wouldnt fit. Thank you for your guidance !

To use the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset # CAB-C5GX1216 on 2018 your 2018 Forest River Artic Wolf you will need to ensure the pin box is locked out.

On the Lippert Turning Point pin box there are 2 bolts that need to be installed and tightened down properly on the back of the pin box. These bolts will prevent the pin box from rotating where the box is bolted to the frame on your Artic Wolf. Virtually turning the pin box into a conventional pin box.
