Flat Towing Recommendations For A 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 RST 3L Duramax

I have a falcon 2 towbar and would like to install mounts on my new 2021 Silverado 1500 RST that has a 3L Duramax.. The search page says Gasoline Engines only for the RM-523199-5, is this accurate?

I spoke with Roadmaster and the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # RM-523199-5 are the correct fit for your 2021 Silverado 1500 RST 3L Duramax. The note of only being compatible for gasoline engines may have been for older year models.
The Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000lbs Item # RM-520 is a great choice for your flat towing your truck but you'll want to make sure you don't over load the truck and go over the 6,000lbs weight capacity.
To flat tow you'll also need tow bar wiring, safety cables, and a braking system. I have the following recommendations for you below:
Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit Item # RM-154. This is a one-time setup that ties into your tail light wiring to use the tail lights instead of running magnetic lights to the back of your truck.
Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000lbs Item # RM-643. The coils on these cables will help prevent damage due to dragging on the ground.
Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39524. This system does require setup each time you want to tow but setup only takes a few minutes. It also comes with a battery charger to keep your battery charged while towing.
Note: You will need to check your owner's manual to ensure your vehicle is flat tow capable and what steps need to be taken to get it ready to flat tow.
