Will etrailer Class III Hitch e98903 on Chrysler Pacifica Interfere With Hands Free Liftgate

Hello, do you have any recommended installers in the 60089 or nearby zip code area? Im trying to install this with same handsfree liftgate featured Pacifica. Want to make sure someone knowledgeable with these does the install.

The only installers I can specifically recommend are our own folks here at our shop in Wentzville Missouri but any trusted mechanic should be able to install the etrailer # e98903 for you without any problem. We estimate it'll take about 1 hour for a professional to complete the installation.

Installing the hitch won't disable the sensors for the hands-free liftgate, but it will limit the range. The receiver tube will prevent the sensors from reading anything at the center of the bumper, but if you wave your foot to either side, the sensors will pick up the movement and the liftgate will operate. It might require some trial and error to find the sweet spot, but the sensors WILL still work.
