Weight Distribution Recommendation for Trailer with Unloaded Tongue Weight 640 lbs
Question:
I plan on buying a Cougar trailer with a GVWR of 7800 and hitch weight of 640. I am going to pull it with a 08 2500 Dodge Ram with the Cummings diesel. What is your recommendation for a Blue Ox tow bar? Is there another tow bar you like better? Thanks.

For a Blue Ox weight distribution system the part # BXW1006 would be a great option for the unloaded tongue weight you mentioned since by the time it's loaded up it would be up into it's range of 750-1,000 lbs.
If you wanted my favorite recommendation though it would be the Strait Line part # RP66084 which has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs and features best sway control at preventing sway before it starts.
