Does Torklift SuperHitch Require Different Rear Tie Down than Stock Hitch
Question:
I just bought and installed Torklift TLD3109s rear tie downs and the front tie downs for my truck from etrailer. I do Not want to remove the rear tie downs as they are now in place and it would be twice the work and would be at a cost loss of labor and money! I now would like to buy and use the Super Hitch TLD1102, but after researching and reading the QandA it appears my TLD3109s would be worthless for using and not compatible with the TLD1102... What is the resolution? I would like to continue to use my OEM stock trailer hitch and the Torklift TLD3109s rear tie downs and be able to use some type of Super Hitch with those items still in place for securely towing trailers with my slide in camper?

Expert Reply:
It is frustrating but the rear tie downs for a vehicle from Torklift are based around what type of hitch is present. So if you went with the TorkLift SuperHitch part # TLD1102 on your truck you would need to go with a new rear tie down. You didn't mention your truck info though so I would need that to verify for sure which one you'd need.
