Which Dexter Over-Under Conversion Kit for 2015 Jayco Jay Flight 23MB with Tandem 3500-lbs Axles

Question:

Hi! I measured my axles and they are definitely not 3, maybe closer t0 2.5inch or less. How can I know what their ratings are, and which over/under conversion kit to get? Thanks!

The best way to know for sure what the diameter of the axle is, is by checking the axle spec sticker on the center of the axle. If it doesn't have a diameter it will have a capacity, which can help you determine the diameter. If you've got smaller than a 3" axle you've most likely got a 2-3/8" diameter axle which corresponds to a 3500-lbs capacity, so you'll want to use the Dexter Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00. I do believe the 23MB has tandem axles so you'll need 2 of these kits.

The Over-Under kit comes with the U-bolts, spring seat and tie-plate, so it will have everything you need to complete the installation.
