Preventing Rattle From Ball Mount in Hitch of 2018 Chevy Equinox

Hello, I have a 2018 Chevy Equinox with the factory tow package. Over the weekend I rented a trailer from Uhaul. With the trailer attached, I noticed a lot of unnerving rattling when stopping, starting, turning, and going over bumps. This was definitely worse when the trailer was empty. The noise was pretty loud, and you were also able to feel it in the frame of the vehicle. Is there any way to prevent this? The ball mount did have a bit of wiggle room/play in the receiver. The pin and clip was a basic set that was included with the receiver, and everything seemed to fit well. Thank you!

You'd need to use a universal anti-rattle device like the part # e99007 which would stop that movement of the ball mount or if this was a ball mount with a hollow shank that you wanted to also have a theft deterrent on you could use the anti-rattle hitch lock # 63232.
