Hitch that Fits 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 with Step Bumper
Question:
hi, i am looking for a hitch for my van. it has the regular factory bumper, but also has an aftermarket step that extends out from the top of the factory bumper. i was looking at the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch Item # 75601. i think a hitch that sticks out a little further like for the step bumper might make access a little easier. is there a difference in the paint finish between the draw tite and curt hitches? i would prefer a powder coat / matte finish vs glossy. the aftermarket bumper i have attaches to the van via the outside of the factory frame rails. pictures of the bumper and attachment points are included.

The Draw Tite hitch part # 75601 is a fit for your 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter with a factory step bumper. The Draw Tite and Curt hitches both have glossy paint so there isn't a way to get the matte finish you mentioned.
