Is There a Solution for Securing a Step-Thru Bike to a Swagman Current Bike Rack?
Question:
Hi, Am looking at this bike rack. Only possible issue is that some folks on your site have had a hard time with their step-thru bikes. Their frame is low and angled, and there is an issue with the bikes being held firmly in position by the hook or arm that holds them in place. Is there a solution to that issue?

The ratcheting hooks on the Swagman Current # S64678 can slide up and down the post of the rack to accommodate most alternative bike frames styles. For a guaranteed mounting point on your step-thru bike, you can purchase the Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Electric, Step Through, and Cruiser Bikes # S57FR. The adapter bar creates a straight mounting point so that the Current can secure the bike by the frame. The quick-release hooks clamp around your bike's seat post and handlebar's stem post to create a straight plane.
