Why Is Strait-Line Weight Distribution Hitch RP66073 and RP66083 So Different In Price?
Question:
Why do these seemingly the same systems differ so much in price?

Expert Reply:
The reason for the price difference between the Strait-Line Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # RP66073 and the # RP66083 you were looking at is the # RP66073 does not include a shank.
You would need a shank like the # RP54970 to be able to use the system, which would bring both systems to the same price.
Neither hitch includes a hitch ball so you would also need 2" hitch ball # A-90 or 2-5/16" hitch ball # 19286 to match the coupler on your trailer.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
