Do Trailer Brake Assemblies Have Front or Rear Axle Designations

Does the front and rear axles require different brake assemblies. I am looking at the Nev-R-Adjust 23-458-459. will this assembly work in both front and rear?

Brake assemblies like the set part # 23-458-459 can be used in a front or rear axle. You do have to match the correct left and right assemblies to the right side of the trailer but from front to back there is not difference.
