Will Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier Fit EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch 306-X7257 On 2018 Subaru WRX?
Question:
I have the EcoHitch Invisi-hitch for my 2018 WRX and would like to find a compatible dirt bike carrier. I found this previous thread 325161 where someone had the exact same problem and wanted to carry a dirtbike with their 2017 WRX. The eTrailer rep recommended the EcoHitch Invisi-hitch part # 306-X7257 and the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier part # UF48-979033. However, Im curious if this carrier is truly compatible with the EcoHitch, given that the EcoHitch is constrained by the short distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the frame of the car? The instructions state that accessories need to be 2.5inch or less from center of hitch pin hole to closest edge of carrier rail, so I want to make sure that the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier fits these requirements. Thank you!

You are correct that from the center of the hitch pin hole to the most outward part of the rear bumper with the EcoHitch # 306-X7257 installed is right at 3-1/2".
Since from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches # UF48-979033 is 15-1/2" you will have plenty of clearance to use this carrier with your 2018 Subaru WRX.
The # UF48-979033 weighs in at 50lbs, so since your # 306-X7257 has a 525lb tongue weigh rating you will be able to carry a dirt bike that weighs up to 300lbs.
I included videos of both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
