Solution for Mounting Rear Jacks of Lippert Ground Control Where There's Interference on RV Frame

Question:

I have checked all the locations for the mounting of the rear jack brackets and 3 of the 4 are no problem. The 4th one has a slide gear drive bar that passes through the area for the bracket. Can the bracket be modified to allow the bar to pass through? I have attached a picture of the frame mounting location. 2008 Keystone Everest 6 pt. LCI part # LC675817

We've spoken with Lippert in the past about alternate mounting locations for the rear jacks if there is anything that would interfere with the recommended dimension. Here's what they told us as far as where you can mount the jacks on the frame:

If the customer was to take a string from the bottom of the rear most tire and run it to the bottom of the rear bumper, the jack would need to be above that line. As long as the jack is above this line, then yes they can install that far back. If any part of the jack will be below that line, they can not install it that far back.
