Replacement Strut for Husky Toolbox

I need one 14 1/2inch extended and its 9inch closed?? It has like 5/16 pivot ball it snaps and locks into. 1/4inch or 5/16inch ????

I may have a solution for you, but the # UWSLIFTCYLIND going to be the longest tool box strut that we have available. We don't have specific replacements for Husky toolboxes, but we do have some boat struts that might work. I recommend taking a look at the Taylor Made Marine Gas Strut for Boat Hatches - 10 mm Socket - 40 lb Force - 10" Long - Steel # 3691823, which is 10" compressed and will be around 14" extended . These struts typically mount to 10mm ball studs, so you'd like need new studs to make it work.
The Taylor Made 10-mm Ball Stud for Gas Struts - 5/16"-18 Thread Size - Stainless Steel # 3691892 is the correct ball stud for this application.
