RV/Trailer Over Frame Step Replacement Recommendation

Question:

I’m interested in the TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising steps. 3 steps + Booster Step. 24” base, Code: TLA9104 This would go on a 1994 Jayco 215SD fifth wheel. The floor to ground distance is about 30 inches. This varies greatly depending on the campsite. Sometimes we have the curbside wheels dug into the ground to level the camper sometimes they are on blocks. The edges of the door flanges are 24 ¾” apart. Is there enough flexibility in the mount that it can adapt to that extra three quarters of an inch? There appears to be about ½” of clearance between the top of the door and the frame. I can remove rhe door from the hinges and drill new holes for the hinges to move the door up about 7/16” to provide room under the door. There is a cabinet door that swings out past the door flange with about 2” clearance to the door flange. Is the mounting bracket 2” wide or less? The extra pic got in by mistake with no way to .

To solve your step issue I recommend the MORryde StepAbove Fold-Down Steps for 23-3/4" to 26-1/4" RV Door Frames - 8" Drop Item # MR98RR. This will bolt right onto the bottom portion of the door frame instead of the sides and has adjustable drop down legs. These steps adjust down to 23-3/4" so you'd have an inch to work with when placing these to make sure you have enough clearance with the cabinet door.

I've attached a review video and a size chart for you as well.
