Will Curt C13416 Class III Hitch Affect Hands-Free Liftgate and Parking Sensors on 2020 Toyota RAV4

Does the Curt # C13416 hitch for a 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Limited itself impact the rear parking sensors or the foot activated power liftgate?

Expert Reply:
According to Curt, the hitch may interfere with the power liftgate function or possibly cause it not to function all together. However, we have not received any product reviews stating it completely shut down that feature. It's much more likely that the receiver tube will cause the liftgate sensor under the center of the bumper not to function, but if you try to either side, they'll work just fine. We've received over 600 customer reviews for the Curt and Draw-Tite Class II and III hitches for the RAV4, so if it was a huge issue we would have heard about it at this point.
We've not received any reports of the parking sensors being affected once the hitch is installed.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness, part # C56434, a
# 40346 ball mount, a # PC3 hitch pin and either a # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
