Which Bike Rack Can Be Folded Up And Will Not Make Contact With The 2016 nx200t
Question:
From the hitch receiver hole to the bumper edge is 5-6 inches space lost. Will the Thule T2 Classic 4 Bike Platform Rack touch my Lexus in the folded-up position? Would the Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack, Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack, or the Saris SuperClamp EX 4 Bike Platform Rack be better options? I hesitate using an extension because of the 50 loss.

The Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH69TX for 4 bikes or the # TH83JV measures 5" from the hitch pin hole when folded up. Since you measured 5-6" from the hitch pin hole to the rear of your bumper, this bike rack will not be able to fold up when installed on your 2016 Lexus NX 200t. The Saris SuperClamp EX 4 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches # SA4026F measures 5-1/4" from the hitch pin hole when folded, so this may not be a great option either.
The Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches # NV22B measures 7" from the hitch pin hole when folded up and the Kuat NV 2.0 Base 4-Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches # BA22B-BA02B measures 8" from the hitch pin hole when folded up. Both of these carriers will work according to your measurement of 5-6". I attached a couple demonstration videos for you regarding these compatible bike racks.
