Trailer Hitch and Recommended 5-Pole Trailer Taillight Wiring Harness for 2002 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
Hi, im going to buy a hitch part number C13087 for my Toyota 4 runner 2002 Also I need to buy the wiring harness. Th plug I have in my trailer is a 5 pole, like the one in the picture. Which one you recommend for this plug? Stand by to place the other Best rgds

For a hitch, you can't go wrong with the Curt Class III, part # C13087.
For a 5 pole trailer wiring harness, there's a couple of ways you can go. You can install a 4 pole trailer connector like the # 118341 and use a 4 to 5 pole adapter like # 20036. The extra blue wire on the vehicle side taps into the reverse light circuit on the 4Runner. Or, if you'd prefer to avoid using an adapter, you could hardwire in a 5 way taillight wiring harness/converter, part # 119177KIT.
The # 119177KIT would make for a more reliable connection in my opinion.
