Recommended Lift Kit For 1996 Aljo Skyline 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
My trailer sits too low in the rear. I cant adjust my pin box due to no clearance between truck bed and trailer. How would I go about doing this the safest yet budget friendly way? trailer is a 96 aljo skyline and my truck is a 06 ram 3500 stock height with 32inch tires

The best way to raise your trailer is with an over-under kit as long as your 1996 Aljo Skyline has leaf spring suspension and does not have torsion axles. Over-under kits move the leaf springs from underneath the axle to on top of the axle which lifts the trailer by the diameter of the axle plus the height of the leaf spring stack.
The correct over-under kit is dependent on the diameter of your axles. The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 is for 2-3/8" diameter axles, where the # K71-385-00 is for 3" diameter axles. Each kit is for one axle, so if you have tandem axles you would need two kits.
If you do have torsion axles, just send me a picture of the axle tag on the center of the axle and I would be happy to go over the available options.
I included a few video reviews for you to take a look at.
