Thomas Payne Cup Holder Sensitivity

The cup holders are too sensitive. Barely sliding your hand by them causes them to activate. What should we do?

The Cup Holder for Thomas Payne Momentum Recliners and Sofas - Qty 1 Item # 195-387597 were designed to be extra sensitive so that you can easily use them by just gliding your finger over them and there unfortunately is no way to turn the sensitivity on them down.
