Trailer Taillights Not Working Correctly and Error Lights Displaying on Dash of 2021 Ford F150
Question:
When I connect the trailer to the TV F250 2021, everything is fine, right trun signal is working, Clearance lights are working and noerror code on the TV. When I use the left blinker I get error message in the truck and no left blinker/brake light is working. When I switch back to my oldinch Nissan Armada, everything is working, brake lights, left and right signals are working no problem at all. Every help is appreciated. Thanks

There's something in the taillight/brake circuits of the trailer that the computer on the F150 doesn't like. I'd recommend closely examining the wiring on the trailer, look for loose connections or pinched wires. One of the circuits on the trailer has too high or tow low of a resistance on it, and the Smart Towing system on the truck doesn't like it. You'll also want to check the connector on the trailer. A corroded or damaged trailer connector can also cause this occurrence.
