How Does Inno Aero Flush Roof Rack Connect to Roof of 2010 Lincoln MKX
Question:
Hi, Looking at these roof racks for a naked 2010 Lincoln MKX roof. I was wondering how it connects? Do you need to drill through the roof? Can the roof rack be removed when not in use or is it a permanent thing? Thanks for your help!

The Inno Aero roof rack you'd looked at consists of the following parts:
• 45 Inch Inno Aero Crossbars, part # INXB115-2
• Inno Flush Roof Rack Feet, part # INXS200
• Inno Custom Fit Clamp Kit, part # INK759
The rack attaches to the roof via clamps that grab the top of the door jambs. This arrangement works extremely well and allows the rack to have a pretty generous 165 lb capacity. The bottom of the feet and the clamps are rubber coated so they won't scratch up the vehicle.
The install requires absolutely no drilling and can be removed pretty easily if needed, and don't need to be permanently installed. I'll link to a video showing my buddy Zack installing this exact rack on a 2015 MKX. The video will show you exactly how everything goes together.
