Connecting Curt Auxiliary Light to Running Light Circuit of Vehicle
Question:
How do I splice a 2 wire license plate light to an existing Curt 53201light already mounted on my bike carrier? Background: bikes obscure the license plate so relocated at the bottom of bike rack.

Since the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Light part # C53201 uses a 4-way trailer connector you'd want to use the 4-way install kit part # 18252 to tap into the running light circuit of your vehicle. You'd ground the white wire and then use the quick splice that comes with it to connect the brown wire of the 4-way to the running light circuit power wire.
