Recommended Roof Rack For 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 To Accommodate Ski Rack And Thule Rod Vault

I just purchased a 2021GMC Sierra 1500. Can you recommend a rack that will allow clearance for the rod vault over the cab and put my Thule ski rack at a convenient height for loading/unloading below the vault level. Also, when I was removing the rod vault from my trade-in vehicle, several of the bolts spun the hex nut or whatever in the lower plastic connection. Do you have any recommendations on how to put it back together? I hacksawed for hours to get that 3 rod vault off! Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated!!

If your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 is crew cab or double cab then the best roof rack for you is the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars Silver - 59" Long # RRVA150S-2. You will also need the necessary Legs # RRRLKVA and Fit Kit # DK427. This system has a weight capacity of 165lbs and measures 59" long which should be plenty for your ski carrier and Thule Rod Vault 4 Rooftop Fly Rod Carrier # TH87YV. This has the top channel for track-mounted accessories.
If your truck has the regular cab then you are limited to a truck-bed rack such as Yakima BedRock HD Truck Bed Rack - Aluminum Crossbars # Y01160-59. This has a weight capacity of 300lbs and has 78" long crossbars and mounts on top of your truck bed rails. You could use this bed rack for any configuration of the 2021 Sierra 1500 no matter if it is double, crew, or regular cab. This setup also has the top channel for track-mounted accessories.
Regarding the damaged mounting pieces, you can find a replacement bracket here: Replacement Bottom Mounting Clamp # 753-2854. This has the threading built-in so the bolts just screw into this bracket. If you need multiple brackets or the hardware and tool too, then I would just get the whole kit: Replacement Mounting Brackets and Hardware # TH753277902.
