How far apart are the holes in the Thule Bottom Mounting Clamp for the Ride on Adapter?

On the Thule replacement mounting clamp bottom piece, # 753-2854, it will fit around crossbars that are up to but not exceeding 3-3/4 inches wide. The holes are approximately 3-1/2 inches apart on center.

The Replacement Mounting Brackets and Hardware for Thule Pull Top Slide-Out Ski and Snowboard Carrier #TH753277902 will work if the holes are 4 inches apart on center.
