info about Helper springs for a tandum boat trailer the axles are 5 bolt the wt. is 5K I dont want to buy new springs the trailer was built in 1992 thanks

I'd recommend the SumoSprings # TSS-107-40 for overslung axles with a 3000, 4000 or 5000 lb capacity. The springs mount to the top of the spring pack and will contact the underside of the trailer frame when compressed. The kit includes 2 springs and the mounting hardware, so for a tandem axle trailer you'll need two kits. The SumoSprings will improve your ride and handling while reducing sway and will reduce roll during turns.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
