The Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Roof Tray 36" x 56" can be purchased using part # RR62TB which is the same as 52112F.

No you can not use the long ends to mount the platform. The platform #RR82TB can only be mounted to the legs using the underside crossbars. There is no other spot on the platform that can accept legs.
