How To Transport 2 Electric Fat Bikes That Weigh 65lbs Each
Question:
Having a hard time finding a double bike hitch mounted rack for our ebikes. I need to accommodate 4 wide fat tires and weight up to 65 pounds each. It seems most accommodate 60 lbs per bike. Our bikes with accessories less battery pack are 65 lbs each. Not sure is 5 lbs over per bike is an issue

You are correct; most of the 2-bike carriers have a max weight capacity of 60lbs per bike. I usually recommend removing the battery or any other mounted accessories that can be removed to save weight. You could use the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack for Fat Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # SA4412B-FB which has a 60lb per bike capacity and fits up go 5" wide tires. This secures the bikes by the frame and also the wheels; it is compatible with bikes that have fenders.
