Roof Rack Recommended for 2001 Toyota 4Runner

Hi I was wondering if you guys have any cross bar that can fit in a 2001 toyota 4runner factory rails.

We sure do.

Many of the options available would bypass those factory rails and mount using clips that grab the upper door jambs, but Yakima and Thule offer fits that will attach to fixed points or slots in the factory rails.

The least expensive option would be a Thule square bar system that would consist of these parts:

• 43 inch SquareBar Evo crossbars, part # TH712100
• Rapid Podium Roof Rack Feet, part # TH460R
• Fit Kit # THKIT3101

This rack would work well for you, but the square profile bars generate a lot of wind noise at speed, which some folks don't care for.

For a more aerodynamic and thus quieter rack, Yakima offers a CoreBar rack that you'd assemble with these parts:

• 50 Inch CoreBar crossbars, part # Y00421
• SkyLine Towers, part # Y53TR
• Landing Pad 1, part # Y00221
