Moving Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller into a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe
Question:
Hi I have a 2018 Chevy Tahoe with the trailer package from factory, hitch and plug. I have Tekonsha brake controller in my pickup and would like to be able to swap them from which one Im towing with. I have previously bought from you for a 2011 GMC Yukon parts, Tekonsha 7686, 7894, 7685 and I have the bracket it sits in. Will these work for the 2018 Chevy Tahoe? Thanks

Expert Reply:
You will need Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3016, to take the place of Pigtail # 7894 as your 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe will have the plug and play ability where your 2011 GMC Yukon required you to hardwire into the factory harness. Both the Mounting Pocket # 7686 and Replacement Mounting Bracket # P7685 will work with either vehicle.
