Availability of Extension for Brake Controller Wiring Harness

Question:

I have a Tekonsha P3 brake controller dongle for my Lexus GX460. Toyota. I want it longer without splicing wires into it. Do you guys sell an extension I can plug into the 4 male connector to extend it to the back of the P3?

Unfortunately, there isn't an extension or adapter available, so you will need to do a bit of cutting and splicing.

Honestly, using the # 7894 pigtail harness would be very easy to install and would allow you to add almost 3 feet of length to your existing brake controller harness which would give you the flexibility to install the controller anywhere within the driver's reach. A 12 inch version is also available as # 20127.

You'd simply cut off the black plug of your current harness and graft in the extension pigtail, joining the wires color for color. The process will take just a few minutes.
