How Much Weight Can the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Support
Question:
I own a 50 pound Ebike and was interested in the Rockmount Monorail Solo. I see conflicting info. on your site and was hoping you could clarify. in one area I read this. Is this right for you? Product Expert Matthew S says: No, if you: Need to carry an extra-heavy electric bike in another area i read this. This single bike rack is able to accommodate electric and fat tire bikes with ease and is perfect for the rider that likes to ride solo. Thanks in advance.

The RockyMounts MonoRail Solo, part # RKY10007, can handle e-bikes up to 60 pounds. So, it will be able to handle your e-bike perfectly well.
The reason the expert stated it's "not for you if you need to carry an extra-heavy electric bike" is because some e-bikes can weigh all the way up to 75 pounds. We have carriers that can handle this much, but the MonoRail Solo isn't one of them.
Still, this rack will be great for your bike. I've linked to a video review of this rack for you to look at.
