Recommended Suspension Enhancement To Prevent Sway On 2005 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra 4WD with 265/70R16 tires. Ive just added a popup camper on the back and sometimes haul a small boat trailer. Ive thought about adding air springs just to add to anti-sway. Currently, there is no sag with the popup loaded. Do you suggest air springs and if so do you have any that are no-drill?

For your 2005 Toyota Tundra 4WD I recommend the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4611 as they will offer more stability with a pop camper or when towing a boat trailer, but also when your truck is unloaded. The # RAS4611 have a 2000lb load leveling capacity that can be fine tuned to your specific truck and will not require any drilling.

Air helper springs do help some with sway, but are more designed for preventing sag. The great part about the # RAS4611 is once they are installed you will not have to perform any maintenance compared to an air help spring system that could leak.

I included a video of the # RAS4611 for you to take a look at.
